My son has been seeing Janelle since he was 12 years old, and he is now about to be 18 in 2 1/2 months! We absolutely love her! She works with both the parent and child and tries to figure out what will work out best, for the best interest of the child. She helped my son so much with his mental health. She obviously cares about kids which is why I gave her 2 stars, but we had such a poor experience when it came to her abilities and understanding of pediatric pharmacology, that we switched providers immediately after our appointment. She showed up 20 minutes late; and then she did not read my child’s chart thoroughly. Never in my years of experience with mental health have I experienced a MHP trying to switch a child that has success on a one class of drug to the exact opposite in conjunction with a sedative! Wow.
