I knew from the MRI I had a potentially deadly brain tumor. I had to wait an agonizing 3 weeks to get a call back to schedule an appointment. I made at least a dozen calls without a call-back. Most of the time, I did not get a person also the frustrating phone tree. After I finally did get an appointment, and at that point my experience dramatically improved. Dr. Ng is phenomenal and I could not have asked for a better surgeon. She is so informative and really makes sure you understand everything about your condition. I had an IPSS procedure last week and will have pituitary surgery early next year. I can’t say enough great things about my experience.
She’s many things to me: 1)a genius who’s dedicated years training to be a neurosurgeon when she could have gotten a good job as regular physician 2)a nice caring fun person 3)tolerant of my curiosity about procedures eg craniotomy. I’m so grateful to Dr Jane Ng for all her skills, work, care and the team who surround her. Without her I may not be improving as well as I am. She’s the best!
Dr. Ng and the whole team were wonderful. They answered all my questions and did everything they could to make me comfortable. Dr. Ng followed up with recommendations for future testing which I will pursue.
