Dr Mathisen correctly diagnosed my bipolar2 disorder on the first visit. I wanted to not go in hospital. She was able to make a plan that avoided hospitalization. The meds were easy to tolerate and it wasn't long till I was back to my old self. She is very gentle and kind and works with the patient so that you are comfortable. Can't recommend anyone higher. Best doctor I've ever had.
