Dr. Lyons has impeccable office presence. She thoroughly explains every question asked. I have been seeing Dr. Lyons for many years and she always shows engagement and compassion.
Very patient and great listener. Had done all the homework and was very familiar with my medical history - obvious by her questions and discussion.
Very approachable, friendly and knowledgeable. Not at all pushy, doesn't use scare tactics for birth options.
When my son was stillborn (due to her complete disinterest in my care) she tried to turn it around and blame it on me. I'd wait an hour plus for her to be in the room for 2 minutes and would dismiss my concerns as invalid or just over reacting. If she would have listened to me, my son would be alive today. Even after almost 4 years later I still tell people to avoid her like the plague.
So we're waiting for the exciting news after our 1st ultrasound and in comes Dr. Lyons babbling on about the different options there are for miscarriages, not realizing that she had not yet informed me that I had even had a miscarriage. Must have hit her after my smile turned to tears. Then she tells me I need to 2 labs draws 2 days apart, and I need to take pills if my labs drop. It's been a week, and I still haven't heard from her. Absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable. Switching today
