She listens well and gives me options on which to decide so I feel I am partner in my health care, She doesn't rush an appointment and makes sure all concerns are covered. She is personable and caring. She has been my primary care doctor fo 3 years.
Dr Dunn has been our family doctor for 2 two years. She has been amazing.
Dr. Jan Dunn is absolutely the BEST PCP I have ever had. I cannot imagine ever having anyone else that would exhibit more compassion, listening skills, empathy, and professionalism than Dr. Dunn. She takes a personal interest in every visit, all questions, explaining her medical expertise and taking time to review test results , labs, and truly cares. Dr. Dunn was my PCP for close to 3 yrs. My endocrinologist put me on steroids for adrenal insufficiency, but I could never tolerate the recommended dose. I had constant problems indicative of more steroids than needed for AI replacement, yet Dr. Dunn insisted I was wrong about my symptoms and that I should take the recommended dose regardless of how I felt. It has been a long time since I found a physician who seemed to really CARE. Dr. Dunn was exceptional; she quickly diagnosed an issue and referred me to a specialist.
I needed a new doctor - not happy with the ones in Canon City. I went on-line to my new insurance program and was given a list of doctors to choose from. I choose Dr. Dunn and could not be happier. She addresses my problems and listens to me and makes suggestions. The follow-up from Kaiser Permanente is excellent, and when I do see Dr. Dunn, she knows what I am in for, what we had discussed before, and goes through all my questions and just is basically a wonderful doctor.
Just recently had a physical and checkup with Dr Dunn. She was very thorough and asked and answered all questions. Very professional and knowledgeable.
