I rarely if ever write reviews. Certainly not negative ones. But the experience my family had on account of Jan Nix -now six months ago, but still palpable- was every parent's worst nightmare. I made an innocent phone call to set up an appointment for me and my three month old daughter. Based on a few minutes exchange, never having ever laid eyes on me or my child, Jan Nix called DFPS (CPS). I became a loyal patient of Jan Nix when I went to her office over 10 years ago with chronic adult acne that the dermatologists were unable to diagnose. Jan diagnosed and recommended a successful treatment plan. Since then, she's successfully diagnosed and treated me with several ailments. I trust and respect Jan and recommend her to anyone who is interested in taking a proactive, positive approach to your health.

Parents beware! Based on a phone conversation, Jan Nix refused treatment to my wife and child, and then called CPS. We were not her patients and she has never laid eyes on us yet her poor judgment and unprofessional response launched an investigation that no good family would ever hope to endure. There is and never has been any cause for concern but her knee-jerk reaction showed her lack of faith in mothers to make medical decisions for their children and a distrust in families in general.
