I saw Jan recently following the sudden death of my 60 year old mother. She was very compassionate and caring. She helped me cope with my loss and I am so grateful to have found her. I highly recommend her!

Absolutely the worst therapist I have ever met. I tried to tell my story/problem, she cut's me off mid-sentence and starts correcting my speech. Once I tell her my medications she says"who ever put you on these is wrong". She has no medical degree to make such a statement. After a little more discussion and much more speech correction she says"wow! You're really wound up!" I was referred to Jan through a previous therapist who recently retired. I have been seeing her for 6 months, and I really enjoy my sessions with her. She has a very flexible schedule and her office is office on the westside is very convenient for me (and there is parking). I recommend Jan.

I just recently came out of rehab and returned to treatment with Mrs. Lipschutz. She helped me get there and I am indebted to her - she was supportive and not judgmental in my quest to get help. At first I was in denial about the huge impact my problems were having on my family and on my life in general. I am really glad to have found her.

Jan Lipschutz has proved to be an excellent therapist and substance use disorder professional. She is willing to face denial and avoidance with skill and great insight. The addiction treatment profession needs more professionals with her ethics and acumen!
