Amanda and her husband were wonderful transporting my mother from Raleigh General to rehab. They were both understanding and sympathetic to my mother‘s age and recent surgery. My mother is still speaking highly of her ‘ride’ and how nice the team was.
God help you if you must deal with JanCare's admin staff. I can't speak to the quality of JanCare's ambulance service. The paramedics and ambulances seem to be OK, but their admin staff and business processes aren't worth a damn. I've been fighting with JanCare for weeks, trying to get them to send a "release form" to the Nicholas County Clerk's Office so I can close Mom's estate. The two gentlemen that responded to 115 Gunter Road Beckley call on the evening of May 1, 2024 were exceptionally amazing with my 77 year old mother! I didn’t get either one’s name but I wanted to express how grateful I am for the way they took care of her, they were professional, patient, persuasive and caring!!! Thank you both!!
