I was forced into a JAMS Dallas arbitration in September 2017 by a terrible law firm after I asked them to please review with me $151,000 of billing which seemed questionable - out of $570,000 billed in 9 months. 1. DEFINITELY order your own court reporter for the hearings. If you lose, then the other side will file in District Court to enforce the award and you lose again, if you take it to the appeals court, they require you present a "complete record," meaning a transcript of the hearing.
