Had the unfortunate experience of Dr. Ruiz taking care of my mom in hospital. His bedside manner was terrible. Compassion seemed nonexistent. He disagreed with other specialists about treatment. I felt his ego got in the way of her care. Dealing with him giving up on her was one of the most difficult experiences of my life, as it was also apparent to her. Partners in his group were just the opposite, and I was grateful on the days they would cover for him. I would NEVER recommend this physician
