RecommendedMy mother-in-law has been there 19 months and they have been great with her. We rest well knowing she is being cared for!.
My parents moved here after living in another Assisted Living facility and they are much happier at Jamestowne. We have been very pleased with the supports provided for them and I would recommend them to anyone needing Assisted Living for themselves or a loved one.
Jamestown is the best assisted living ive ever been to or worked at. The love we all have for our residents is so true. I love that we bring chruch there for residents who cant just go out. The daily activities are always so much fun. The bosses work just as hard as the employees (even harder at times). We all work together to try to do our very best to help our residents have their best lives with us. I would recommend Jamestown to anyone. Words can not express the appreciation and love our family has for the comfort and care you gave our daddy and grandfather during the past two years. My grandmother lived here almost four years. She passed away last month and we're at peace knowing that she is with the Lord. However, over the past eight months this facility tortured her with their neglect and abuse. After coming under new management with the ED James Gunter, care in the facility plummeted. Food quality is cheap and scary with residents getting sick. My grandmother couldn't speak very clearly because of her dementia. She was often scared and upset. Worked there bout 3 years, love the people there. I still visit everyone when I can, just a great place.
I have to say I absolutely love working with this amazing group of people. I would not trade this job for anything. When you walk in the door you can feel the happiness and everyone always has a smile on their face. No matter how tired I am everyday I can't help but to have a smile on my face when I walk in the doors. Everyone is always complimenting each other. This is my home away from home. I look forward to coming to work everyday. Its simply amazing.
It is so good to know that Mom is happy and getting wonderful care. It gives me peace of mind, knowing that she is safe and nurtured and respected, knowing that I cannot see her as often as I would like. Thank you for your wonderful care!
