STEER CLEAR. This company USED TO have a great reputation. James has driven the company into the ground and taken the $$ of many customers with him. Avoid at all costs. We gave him $34K for a bathroom remodel in May 2019. It is now January 2020 and I still don't have a bathroom....and no prospects for completion.
I filed a contractor fraud complaint with the sheriff's office and according to the officer I spoke with I am about the 40th person to do so in the last 2-3 months and filed another one with the state licensing board. Took our deposit and he KNEW they weren't going to ever follow through.
DO NOT do any business with Jamestown Kitchens or James Gerard. He is a scam artist of the highest order. He will NOT deliver you a fully remodeled kitchen. He will take your money, and leave you high and dry. He is now under investigation by the police for scamming dozens of people out of over $1M.
By returning all the money he absconded with.
This is the worst kitchen remodeling company in the area. Took my money and after six months nothing. They do not show up. They promise dates to begin work but do not come. If I could I would give them 0 stars. Do not do business with them.
Takes deposits, doesn't do the work, then tries to hold you hostage for your money. Horrible.
