He is an excellent, very thorough, likable and approachable doctor who really cares. I've had MANY psychiatrists and he is by far the best I've found.
Doctor Wickham instructed a third year resident to cut my anxiety and sleep meds. I had taken these medications as prescribed by another psychiatrist at Lewis Gale Doctor Richard Leggett for almost thirteen years. I had a nervous breakdown and went to the hospital. Afterward I was forced to go through withdrawal at home all by myself. Then I was thrown out of the program for noncompliance. Doctor Wickham has refused to speak to me during all of this.
