In November, I had pneumonia, and I was at Horizon at the time. But I didn't find out I had pneumonia until I switched back to my old clinic. My old doctor didn't take my symptoms seriously and she more or less just gave me steroid pills to treat my cough. When I switched back to my old clinic, my new doctor not only prescribed me the same steroid that my old doctor at Horizon gave me, but she also gave me more proper medication to better treat my pneumonia. The doctors and staff here are friendly but their billing is something else entirely. They can’t seem to get anything right. I specifically asked them to put me onto their sliding scale because, well, I’m not rich. I then asked them if they could combine the bills from my visits and my children’s visits so I could make just one payment. They agreed to both and next thing I know I’m getting sued by a despicable collection agency that they use. No warning, no contact, nothing! I have been making regular payments to this place ... read more
