Dr Trauger was very through in describing the knee replacement surgery and what I can expect in regards to the healing process. He went over my medical history and asked questions about what I hoped to gain by having this surgery. I never felt rushed and he made sure all my concerns were addressed.
Very friendly, efficient and professional support practice for the best orthopedic surgeons available anywhere. I have had joint repair and replacements done by Dr. Monmouth in Houston, Dr. George Brouillet in Baltimore and Dr. James Trauger in Salisbury. I couldn’t be more pleased with all three BUT DR. TRAUGER has been my choice for hip and knee replacement. I have referred several friends and neighbors to POA, more specifically Dr. Trauger.
Not pleased with outcome one year later
Had total knee replacement on 16 May 2024 by Dr Trauger. Surgery went great. Little to no bruising. Had a nerve block that wore off after approx 48 hours. I felt great going home. I started ramping up the meds he gave me and felt pretty good. It’s been a week since surgery and I and able to get a round pretty good with a walker and have only an aching pain. Very thankful for such a skilled surgeon here by the shore! Highly recommend Dr. Trauger for knee replacements.
