DO NOT use James T Ruben Real Estate to manage your properties. He has embezzled, money, misappropriated funds, used unlicensed workers to perform repairs. Hasnt provided a property management report in 14 months. Filed insurance claims without owners knowledge, Refused to give out 1099's. I currently have him under lawsuit. Contact Louisiana Real Estate Commission to file complaints. I am retired U.S. Army soldier Ruben"s lack of professionalism and gross dereliction of duty is the worse I have ever seen.

Bad management and they dont repair your house on time. He is a big Rip off he making me pay for my mother who house it was really was over amount that I know before she diie that she didn't have and he let me sign another lease knowing that she so called had this amount owe he never told me that she owe that amount when she died. He also told me I didn't have to pay it when she died then when I wanted to move cause he dont fix nothing He wants to charge me for it. Doesn't repair, fix or upkeep things on his properties. I have clients that rent from him and I have personally seen things go not attended to or repaired for weeks or over a month. Poor property manager. One house should be uninhabitable but he still rents it.
