My dad served 22 yrs in the United States Army. He's retired finally and wanted to get a new rider. He asked the salesman if they gave a military discount and the salesman told him no the price is what it is and that he could get a discount at Lowes.
Husband & I went in to purchase a tractor with accessories for it. The manger Chris informed us we should come back when they were running a sale , when he was asked about negotiating. He said that he did not have a clue when that next sale was going to happen. To be transparent,Chris was short with our questions & came off as if he was in a hurry or we were an inconvenience to his time. So we left with cash in hand. The entire experience at James River Equipment of Shelby was disappointing.

Needed to replace a part. Could tell these ladies didn't care to deal with me from the get-go. I brought the part inside and told them how to find engine specifics and part numbers they neglected to even look it up. Then offered to order a part at more than twice the amount it costs through the manufacturer. Still offering the wrong part. Was not impressed nor will I be coming back.
