Dr. Shurlow has been great he fully explains what he is going to do.
Dr. Shurlow is very cold and rude. He has terrible bedside manner. Everytime I dealt with him, he made me feel like a nuisance. He showed no compassion to me despite being in excruciating pain. He was also clearly irritated that he had to come in on a Saturday morning to operate. He seemed annoyed at my questions before the procedure and did not even come in to check on me after surgery. Highly recommend Dr.Shurlow He did colonoscopy to rule out colon cancer. He took biopsies though he saw nothing visibly wrong. To me that's speaks volumes about his initiative, desire to find the problem , and concern for my well being. I also appreciate at the follow up appointment , Though I was still in pain, he recommended i establish a primary care physician that could follow my symptoms and history instead of arrogantly diagnosing me without cause. I would never trust another surgeon. Dr. Shurlow not only saved my life. He always gives me straight answers before any procedure putting my mind at ease. I would say he's the best surgeon in our Northern MI community!
