AVOID!!! I would definitely NOT recommend this dentist. He is trying to make money by suggesting unnecessary procedures. He told me I needed NINE gum grafts , when I sought a second opinion I only needed two and the new dentist said he could see NO conditions to justify NINE. The only conclusion one can make is that his motive is MONEY, and NOT the interest of one's health. NOT RECOMMENDED!!
Happy with new tooth I had a complicated issue with my tooth. Dr. Tolman took a lot of time to make me feel comfortable about the issue. He explained everything very well, and I made the choice to have an implant. I was nervous about it, but it has turned out great. My tooth has been in for 3-months now, it looks perfect, and I have zero pain. I don't agree with some of the other reviews on this website.
AVOID I had infected root canals and mercury poisoning, which caused fast onset of periodontal disease. He ground down all my teeth, releasing so much mercury that I became permanently disabled. He did not find or address the infected root canals or mercury poisoning. I would avoid this dentist if at all possible.
MS I thought Dr. Tolman was very professional. I was very satisfied and I have researched the community for various other periodontists and dentists. I would recommend him to my friends.
Not too sure I have never had a dental implant. I was informed that this procedure was not a big deal, recovery was quick, small chance of complications, not as invasive as you would think. I ended up getting an infection. This may or may not have been his fault. I had the implant weeks ago. I'm still in pain. I feel as though I'm bothering him and his staff if I call for questions or a check-up.
Been a patient for 10 years I have gone to Fircrest Dental Arts Center for 10 years. Before I started going there I had not gone for many years because of my fears. Dr Jim Gagliardi and every single member of his staff are the best in the business and treat me like I am the most important person in their practice. There are better periodontists in olympia Dr Tolman recommended and performed a procedure. When a problem arose, I consulted another periodontist and was told that - given the level of bone surrounding the tooth in question - it was "wishful thinking" to expect that the procedure Dr Tolman performed would work. Bottom line, I still need the appropriate procedure to be done and am out the $2,000 for the work I had done at Dr Tolman's office.

Not expected Be very careful when you go to this dentist. I agreed on work and the dentist did more than I agreed upon and then charged me for it. I would recommend going up the street a bit.
