I had surgery on November 14th 2025 on my shoulder. Dr Emanuel was great. He explained everything to me. I got a therapy chair and an ice machine that has helped my recovery tremendously. The office and staff were great. I have called a couple of times with questions and the staff was quick to answer my questions. I would recommend Dr Emanuel and his staff for your surgery needs.
Dr Emanuel operated on my right shoulder in October 2023. Full recovery took longer than usual due to the extent of the repairs needed to fix all of the damage but the shoulder feels great and the open repair scar is barely noticeable. His recommendation for using the ice machine after surgery and ordering the KINEX equipment prior to physical therapy made my surgical recovery relatively pain free. Dr Emanuel is a wonderful surgeon and takes time to respond to patients concerns.
Dr James Emanuel has done wonders on fixing what another workman comp could not. My rotator cuff and bicep repair was completed quickly and expertly. I have feeling back in my fingers that I did not have for over a year. He is my hero.
After 2 failed work comp elbow surgeries I was sent to Dr James Emanuel. It was obvious that the former doctor/surgeon was Dr Emanuel's friend by the things Dr Emanuel was putting in my medical notes. I made it clear to him that the former doctor was negligent and he was responsible for my prior 2 surgeries failing, and I was going to hold him responsible. I saw him as an independent Orthopedic Surgeon at the request of my WC case. I have heard horror stories as to how they can be, aso I went in with my guard up. He was one of the nicest doctors I have ever seen " and being an RN that's a lot." He spent well over an hour and explained everything in depth. Great experience
