Today was my first experience at James-Oliver. From the front desk to the doctor, EVERYONE was so kind, personable, and helpful. The exam was thorough and I felt that they genuinely cared about my health and concerns. After today’s visit, I am transferring my records from my eye doctor of 20+ years for better care at James-Oliver!
Dr. James and her staff create an outstanding patient experience. I highly recommend.
Charged for services not necessary (went in for contacts but they required a glasses partial exam) and refused to use insurance even though insurance would cover the cost for a full exam, due to their own office policy, then is rude when asked about it. Their policy would have us coming there 3 separate times and paying out of pocket for services that insurance we already pay for would cover, and bill insurance too. Not to mention the hour wait every time.
Dr. James is amazing! Always explains what’s going on with your exam and always gets your prescription! Being diabetic she keeps an excellent check on my eyes and any issues that arise between yearly Exams!
Had a good experience here. They are patient and thorough with a regular eye exam. For reference, I just have glasses and don’t have any other eye diseases or problems.
