I did not know Dr. Muccio prior to breaking my hip on March 19, 2026, which concerned me somewhat. One always wants to have confidence in the surgeon who’s operating on them. Post-op I can tell you he is an Excellent Surgeon!!! Today, five days post-op, I am walking pain free!!! I’m using a walker, just to be safe and until Dr. Muccio tells me I can stop using it. The care from Dr. Muccio and Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper, Ga. was extraordinary!!!
Great doctor and surgeon. He is very friendly and does great work.
This was my second visit to this facility and with this doctor. A great experience from start to finish. Highly recommended!
