Martau and his staff failed to diagnose my mother's larynx cancer, even after she was seen by his nurse for choking when eating, trouble swallowing and severe unexplained weight loss.I learned later that these are classic symptoms of Dysphagia , which should have led to additional testing to determine the cause, however the nurse just looked in her throat and said it was fine. I describe Dr. Martau and Mary very professional but, I can't say much for the staff in the office. My father, who is 98 years old has been seeing Dr. Martau last Friday and was told he should see the Wound Care center. It is now Wednesday, I have been given the run around about if the referral was sent to the wound center. As of Monday the wound center did not receive it.
