Dr MacMillan performed a quintuple bypass on me back in December 2016. Everything went well then and has since. I thank God for leaving me in the hands of someone so capable and caring. He explained everything and was a calming influence. Sorry to hear you are retiring but was so glad that you were my Dr. God bless you and your family. Thank you. L. Pahal

Dr. MacMillan skillfully replaced both an aortic and a mitral valve that had been damaged by endocarditis on my 64 year old wife when her condition was critical. His skill was especially appreciated as he was asked to accomplish this when my wife’s condition was failing. Dr. MacMillan was asked to preform the surgery without a blood transfusion as my wife is one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. The narrow parameters he was asked to work within illustrate his skill set as distinguished and singular.

Dr. MacMillan is an excellent surgeon and very personable as well. You can have the utmost confidence in his ability to perform cardiac surgery.

Doc MacMillan has fantastic bedside manner and takes the time to thoroughly talk with you. I felt very comfortable and confident in him. His staff are very courteous and friendly. I had an issue that was a little rare for him to work with, his office struggled a little in figuring out a rebuttal response to my insurance after they denied an MRI he ordered. Ultimately had to work with a different specialist to get the MRI approved. So a little bit of a improvement opportunity for them.

Staff couldn't have been nicer. 3 people waiting besides myself and took over 2 hours to get into exam room. Nurse was extremely nice and thorough. Waited another hour in exam room. He told me I needed CABG surgery, I had no idea what it was. He didn't give any explanations of what needed to be done and when I asked he seemed like I was asking something out of the ordinary. Wasn't very comfortable with him and had surgery elsewhere. He looked exhausted, maybe he's overworked and needs to retire
