Took a family member for a consult and found Dr. Robbins to be knowledgeable and caring. He listened to our concerns and frankly, I think he picked up on our fears. He intelligently explained the data from recent and historical tests, tactfully addressed our concerns and gave us tangible action plans while leaving the door open if we wanted or needed further consultation in the future. Excellent doctor. The person who handled our intake at the office was friendly, efficient and professional.
Excellent surgery, on time Dr Robbins did an excellent procedure. Beaumont Corewell staff did a great job as well
Doctor Robbins is in my opinion is very insightful and delightful! He is very transparent, cordial, skillful, and listens to one’s viewpoints. I only wish there was more doctors like him. Really, i believe this doctor should teach other doctor’s how it’s done!!! Thank you Doctor for taking me as your patient.
Dr. Robbins was attentive to my questions at my initial office visit and very comforting during my procedure. I would highly recommend Dr. Robbins for any surgical procedure.
I needed diastasis recti and hernia surgery. I felt heard, understood, and was taken care of. Thank you Dr. Robbins for putting me back together so I can enjoy my life with my family!
Stay far away. I was admitted to the hospital for a blockage in my stomach. Had to perform emergency surgery. I would have never chosen this doctor. 2 days after being discharged I had an infection in the incision and had to be rushed back to the hospital. They had to leave the hole in my stomach open which resulted in it healing like I was shot with a 12 gauge shot gun below my belly button. I had to wait 2 years to get plastic surgery and still does not look normal. Had billing issues also!
Could not have had a better experience & outcome, regarding surgery, after surgery care & follow up appointment, Dr. Robbins & the rest of his team seem to care about the patients health & well being more than most other doctors I've been to. He does not look @ patients as a #, as in $ wise, getting you in & out of his office like most other doctors do/ as quick as possible. Would highly recommend to anybody for Hernia surgery or anything else in the fields he is train.
Dr. Robbins is a top-notch surgeon and wonderful human being. To make a very long story short, he saved my father's life 10 years ago when asked by another medical specialist to step in after a poorly executed surgery. This man is everything you want in a surgeon... amazing delivery of information and calming presence that every family would hope for when faced with surgery. Fast-forward 10 years, Dr. Robbins has perfomed subsequent family surgeries with the same professionalism / approach.
