Perhaps Dr Kingsman is a decent Psychiatrist for some people, however with him, he does not work with parents or caregivers at all. If there was a minus stars, I would rate him in that department. These guys are supposed to be the experts when it comes to Shizophrenia, and see through patience credibilty issues. On a number of times, my wife and I were shut out of our monitoring the behavior of a extremeky sick patient that isnt credible. My mother has seen this Dr by default after her Dr died. He takes no interest in her. Today he complained that she was interrupting him. She told he was not listening to her and didn’t have his facts straight. How dare he put down an 87 year old that came to him for help and didn’t listen to a thing she said. Just because she didn’t want to go through a bunch of test procedures doesn’t give him the right to put her down and talk down to her. She will never go back to him. This man is in the wrong field. Dr. Kinsman has taken excellent care of me. He listens carefully to what I'm saying, takes detailed notes during my visits and has been responsive to my more urgent medical needs. My health has definitely improved under his care! I would highly recommend him if you are looking for a primary care physician in the Colorado Springs area.
