Totally incompetant
I have been seeing Dr. Jacobson for years and have constantly told him I need help with my anxiety. He has prescribed me medicine for psychosis and depression every time instead of an anxiety medication. Every time I ask him my diagnosis, he says it's anxiety and yet he will not give me the proper medication for it. I have trusted this man with several years because he is so nice and cordial and yet every other medical professional I see tells me that I am not being prescribed properly.
I've been seeing Dr. Jacobson for many years and have never had any problems with his health care. He is a caring doctor who has always been easy to talk to and get the right prescriptions for my needs. I would recommend him to anyone seeking a psychiatrist.
An actively dangerous and incompetent psychiatrist. He consistently rejects the best clinical evidence in favor of what's easy for him. He pretends to listen, and care, and then proceeds with whatever he was going to do anyway. Horrible man besides it's hh
I called to see about becoming a new patient of Dr. James Jacobson. The women that answered the phone was extremely rude. To start off the conversation, she told me that he is not excepting new patients, and goes on to say that I would have to see a nurse practitioner. I told her that was fine with me, then she says in a huff~ well, you can't get in until the end of January...again I say that is just fine. Dr. Jacobson listens to your concerns and helps you find the right medications so you can lead an almost normal life.
I've been seeing Dr. Jacobson for approximately five years. He has always been kind and caring towards me, and believe me, he has seen me at my worst. He listens to my concerns and seems to genuinely care. I have also seen him on an inpatient basis. He never gives up on you. He will work with you until he gets the right medications to help you. I would highly recommend him as a doctor.
This guy is a narcissistic psychiatrist. He makes you feel belittled and has somewhat of a god complex. Beware.
