My wife was there to see a doctor of an issue on her hand. They billed for 5 minutes almost 2k, insurance reduce to 1k. My co payment is 15% . So this people has a flat rate for 10 minutes. I learn the lesson, if you need to see a doctor on a weekend, go somewhere else also maybe MUSC ER will be cheaper. Worst part some one told me, they reduce money from the state for be an ER so they make a lot of money. Maybe I need to build a place like this and retired in 2 years. Again do not go there, with those bills.

The nurses were very nice and helpful, which is why I’m giving it two stars. They were quick getting me in and on medicine. I went in 4:30am on a Saturday with severe abdomen pain, and the ER doctor did a very poor job with bed side manner and giving me information on my condition. I was alone, in the worst pain of my life, and loopy from the pain meds they gave me, and he did very little explaining to me of what was going on, why they were doing the tests they were doing, what’s the results meant.
