I have been seeing Dr Hurst for several years for two reasons.First, I had a callous which he would trim periodically. And within the last year, Dr Hurst has wrapped my legs whenever I have deep wounds. This medicinal wrap is the only thing that heals my wounds quickly. Dr Hurst has a warm and friendly personality. He cares about his patients and is very inventive/creative finding a solution that works best for each individual.
Dr. Hurst is treating me for a big toe fusion (aka a Bunyan removal). I cannot express enough gratitude and appreciation for Dr. Hurst’s expertise, professionalism and his sincere friendly demeanor. In 5 weeks I was walking in a sandal. Now, 2 months to the day of my surgery, I am completely healed having completed my 3-week PT with better than expected results. Dr. Hurst treated my 5yo child for a plantar wart on his foot that we got from a public pool/gym. He was very kind and patient with my child. He gave us several options for the care plan, but suggested the least stressful and invasive. As treatment progressed we had follow up visit every 10 days where Dr Hurst was just as pleasant and kind. He would revisit the treatment plan and ask questions. I went to this office for a very small wart on the bottom of my foot . He removed it and charged me $300.00 and said that charge covers the follow up visits . I went for one follow up visit and next one he charged me another $100.00 . He did not indicate that the second follow up visit was going to cost me another $100.00 . Please consider another foot doctor. I went to Dr. Hurst for bruised toes after getting stepped on and he said it was bruising and offered his light therapy for faster healing. After paying for 6 sessions ($490) my foot was still in pain and I couldn’t walk normally without limping. On the 6th session he did not give me his complete attention and rushed my appointment.
