absolutely wonderful surgeon! the only downside to a pre-planned surgery at howard county medical center was that the staff, instead of putting the prescriptions in before surgery so that the family has time to get them, the recovery room nurse informs the care-partner to pick up prescriptions after the patient has already begun to recover… i’m waiting for his prescriptions at the pharmacy as I type this. I can not say enough positive things about Dr James Harris. He is extremely knowledgeable in his field and his bedside manner can not be compared. My PCP recommended him to me for a second opinion on my 4th hernia surgery. My 3rd hernia surgery had been botched by a different surgeon who told me that for this 4th surgery I would need open surgery and be overnight in the hospital 5-7 days.
