James is a fabulous teacher and one of the finest jazz drummers on the west coast. Highly recommend!
James Gallagher is one of the topdrum teachers and jazz drummers in California, absolutely. I’ve become not just a drummer but a musician after studying with him.
James is an amazing teacher. He has so much genuine enthusiasm for teaching music - it's infectious! He's really thought about how to teach and build up your expertise, and accompanies you on drum set and with all styles of music, which is fun and helps with practicing.
I've been taking lessons with James for several months now and it's been an incredibly positive experience. James' passion, patience, and personalized approach make each lesson a fun and enriching experience. His expertise and guidance have helped me grow as a drummer. Would highly recommend!!!!
