I'm in my 70's and have, unfortunately, have seen a LOT of doctors. Dr. Dowdell spent a great deal of time with me. Detailed explanations also. I'm an R.N., so my standards are very high. He's the best of the best!

If I could give Dr Dowdell twenty stars, I would. I had an L5 S1 A lift posterior SF performed mid-June. He was with me all the way from my first consultation to my recent six-month visit. I can’t speak highly enough about the treatment that I received. Bedside manner is off the charts, and he was honest and upfront about what I should expect from the surgery, the options available to me, and the healing process I would face. Meeting Dr Dowdell was a blessing. My lower back pain was intolerable. He patiently explained the condition, the proposed surgery and the post-op recovery. I just had my 6 week post-op visit and I told the Dr. that I no longer have the pain that brought me to him in the first place. My family and I can’t thank him enough . I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Starting with Teresa in the office, to both Zach and Dr. Dowdell, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I never sat for longer than 5 minutes in the waiting room. I never felt rushed during any office visit and left each visit feeling confident that I chose the right surgeon. A fantastic experience from the very beginning. It would be impossible to recommend Dr. Dowdell and his team more highly.
