I went to this facility as a first time patient recently and the Dr is awesome but the staff is horrible.I arrived and right away the receptionist greeted me with such bad attitude. The receptionist clearly does not know what she is doing she took forever just to check me out, she didn't even give me a receipt. I asked for one and all she could say was this is going to take a while i can mail it to you if you'd like. Seriously??!! Not like I had a choice. The optician was so rude. She was helping me pick out frames and telli... read more
The Dr. is fine, but the staff is incompetent. I went in with an eye infection so I had to wear my glasses. The Dr. told his assistant to adjust my frames. When she did she broke them in half at the bridge. She then tried to blame me by asking if I sleep in them and called my glasses cheap to start with. They were not cheap! I told them that was not acceptable, so they said they... read more
IF YOU HAVE VSP, GO SOMEPLACE ELSE – As far as the doctor and his staff go, they are adequate. They are friendly enogh and the office comfortable enough but if you have VSP insurance, I DO NOT reccommend utilizing this location as a primary eye care physician. The lenses are expensive and there are not many to choose from. If you have VSP insurance, you may as well go to Lens Crafters and it will cost you less. In a world where you can obtain lenses in 1 hour, I feel that a week or more to get glasses is a bit out the realm ... read more
Kind, Caring, and Competent – Dr. Winter has a great bedside manner. I went in for an eye infection. I am nervous when it comes to my eyes being poked and prodded, which can make me a difficult patient. He talked me through every step and before I knew it I had a script for antibiotics and was on my way. I didn't even flinch. I am going back to get my vision tested in 2 weeks. I would recommend Dr. Winter to anyone who is sensitive about their eyes. Plus I only waited 5 minutes to be seen.
