He operated on my right ankle at Lakewood Ranch Hospital and it just flops to the side and I can no longer walk.
Dr. Cottom and his team (Brittany, Raven) are amazing! On my way to work one morning, I had an emergency situation - fell and hurt my ankle pretty badly. Dr. Cottom's team made room for an appointment to see me that morning, provided a thorough exam, but as quick and painless as possible. I was in a lot of pain when I got there, but they did such a nice job, I was able to finish out my day at work. Appreciate all that they did for me. Very capable team!
Total waste of time and money. I came in with a recent set of X-rays (taken just last week), but the doctor refused to even see me unless I paid for another full set done at his office. He didn’t speak to me directly—just sent multiple staff members to repeat the same message. I asked how much it would cost, and they still wouldn’t give me an answer. He performed a surgery I have since learned was not necessary. All the follow up visits were with his staff-he was "too busy" to see me. It did not heal correctly. It's five years later and I am currently seeing another podiatrist for severe pain. Not happy to say the least.
