I can go through 1 pair of cheap gloves in 1 to 3 weeks depending on what I'm doing. The Churchill Malamute line of elk skinned gloves will last for a minimum of 6 months. I usually loose them before they wear out.
I absolutely love my set of Churchill gloves. The leather quality is amazing and they just seem to mold around your hands to fit perfectly. I'm buying a pair of gauntlets as we speak - can't wait to get'em!
The Maverick C Classic Deerskin Leather in Black size XL has been my favorite motorcycle riding glove for over 8 years now. I bought a pair in 2008, and they are still as soft as the first time I put them on... and every stitch is just as tight. I use them everyday in weather ranging from a few degrees below freezing, to over 115F... through the rain, snow, and dry heat. I have worn and sold Churchill gloves for decades. There isn't a better glove on the market that I know of. I won't ride without them.
