Dr. Carroll walked with my 96 year old mother through a very difficult time. She is the only person she would talk to and trust about her health. He was also there for her with a personal phone call when she really needed him. Mom had switched PCP’s multiple times because she said they never took the time to listen and basically didn’t seem to care at all about “old people”. Both of my parents have seen Dr. Carroll for 18 mths. He is great in-person, but his office staff is disorganized, often unresponsive, and one of his back-of-house nurses is so unempathetically rude it borders on abusive. Despite being kind and knowledgeable physicians, I think our overall experience speaks to this doctor group's inadequacy in managing their administrative (and specifically nursing) staff.
