Dr. Bonucchi has been an asset to my medical care team. I first saw him two years ago after a cancer treatment caused glucose fluctuations. Fast forward to 2024 ~ although a major surgery at the National Cancer Institute debulked a majority of my tumors, I still have my rare cancer. If a "0" stars option were available, that would be my choice. The visit was supposed to be a "new patient" visit, as my insurance changed this year. Unfortunately, I am still looking for a new Endocrinologist!! When I left the office, I felt absolutely insignificant and ignored! After hearing words like "mortality" and "morbidity" at a new patient visit, I now know what medical gaslighting feels like. Wanting to get as much information from this visit, I had my blood work done 3 weeks ago (as directed), so we could review t... read more

I have been a patient of his for the past 14 months. At my first visit, he palpated my throat during the routine examination and immediately felt a goiter that no other doctor had been able to find. He then ordered an ultrasound of my neck and with the ultrasound he was able to diagnose my Hashimoto's. He also discovered a large nodule and I was referred to an ENT surgeon for a partial thyroid lobectomy. I feel that he is a very knowledgeable doctor, and he treated me kindly.
