Dr. Bampton has been my PCP for a number of years because of his attention to the patient and genuine concern for our health. I can't recommend him highly enough.
Very easy to talk to and listens well. He really cares about your health and very good at diagnosing rare conditions.
If you are in the market for an exceptional family practice and a doctor who listens to you, then I strongly suggest Physicians of Family Medicine and Dr. Bampton. I have been a patient at this office since it opened 25 years ago. When my doctor of 25 years retired from the Practice, the office suggested I see Dr. Bampton. I am happy to switch to Dr. Bampton. Also, since moving from the area, I travel one hour to go to Physicians of Family Medicine...they're worth it and so are you.
Dr. Bampton is a great doctor. Very personable, great listener, does not rush you...and very thorough getting to the source of your problem/illness.

I was totally satisfied with my recent appointment with Dr. Bampton. He took a great deal of time to review my history, discuss (and answer) my questions, and make informed recommendations about future care.
On a recent visit Dr. James Bampton and his staff were respectful of my time and needs. Each gave me the time I needed to convey my concerns; they carefully listened to what I was saying and responded in a professional and caring manner. Later, when I needed help with an expensive medicine, the staff was very helpful in securing samples until my insurance could arrange for payment of the medicine. Dr. Bampton and his staff truly offer patient centered care. I highly recommend Dr. Bampton!
I recently had to been seen and receive stitches for a cut. The doctor I had regularly seen is no longer with this practice so I was seen by Dr. Bampton and I could not be happier. Dr. Bampton took his time with me. Talking with me, stitching me up and ensuring I was up to date on shots and no allergic reactions to any medication. I am extremely happy with the practice and all the doctors, nurses and office staff.
Dr. Bampton is an excellent doctor with great bedside manner. He is caring and attentive to my medical needs.
