I have been seeing Dr.Beckett for more than 14 years. He has always put 100% into providing care for me. In addition he has always been kind and patient as well as having an extreme amount of knowledge and has helped me through many difficulties over the years. I have to say he is one of the best and I would recommend him for near anything.
Dr. James Beckett has been my primary care physician beginning in the 1990's. My belief that he is the best has been validated by two Sutter nurses, one of whom is now working in ICU. I have come to view his retirement like losing contact with a trusted family member. As I approach my 80th birthday, I thank him for adding longevity to my life...through being: Accommodating, caring, considerate, professional, knowledgeable, dedicated, and exhibiting great integrity.
I will miss him very much. He is a good listener and explains what is going on and will refer me to a specialist when ever I need one.
Dr. Beckett has always been a thoughtful, unhurried listener who takes his time in order to actually know his patient, not just his patient’s symptoms.
I was shocked and saddened to receive a "new doctor" assignment from Sutter Health Plus today. It seems Dr. Beckett, my doctor of over 20+ years, no longer accepts SHP insurance, or perhaps, has retired. I feel it is important to let him and Camille know that I appreciated their caring and supportive treatment throughout the last 20+ years. They were always quick to respond when I had health related concerns. For that, I say thank you and best wishes on whatever is next for both of you. Best, S
