I gifted my daughter charms for Easter and she took them the JA inside of Dillard's @ Willowbrook mall, where she normally goes, because she works in the mall.... but this time, she was told she had to buy something from Dillard's in order to have her charms added to her bracelet. Apparently, this new rule started on this past Easter Sunday. I feel like this is poor customer service. What does one have to do with the other?
The young lady at the counter was very nice and friendly. However, I went to have a charm added to my bracelet and was not offered a pick-up receipt like most JA stores give to their customers. Once I picked up my bracelet, it was only until I got home that I then realized it had not been cleaned. Aside from that, the charm fell off a week later and was thankful I found it in that instant! It had not been soldered on correctly. Highly disappointed with this location and will only go to the Champions location from now on.
This James Avery location is actually housed within the Dillard's in Willowbrook Mall. This location is always maintained exceptionally well, and it gives a positive and welcoming feeling upon arrival. New to the James Avery clientele, I had no idea about the process of getting charms added to jewelry such as placement, how long it takes, cleaning, etc...
