I was hospitalized for 3 weeks, before being induced. The care I received during that time and during labor and immediately after labor was great! But once moved to the antepartum unit, I felt like a number and not a mom. I felt that because my baby was in the nicu and not with me. I didn't get the experience or care I should have gotten. They didn't do my baby's footprints not write down his birth information on the paper that was given to me.
I had my baby here last week and the staff were incredible. The nurses Terra and Kristen were incredible during my labor/ delivery. Kristen actually is the one who caught my son because he came so fast, lol. My dr was Dr. Rowe through Magnolia Place and she was amazing too. They had great communication amongst each other and with me. My baby did end up having to go to the NICU, and his nurses were Torrie and Genna. They were absolutely amazing as well. Got to many people working in here that have no idea what to do but that's how there being trained to not no and refer you to the next one that doesn't know and so on. This has turned into a training then teaching job not a public service to better the communities health as said in the daily reflector newspaper yesterday saying they have served 1.9 million people well how about that 1.25 million dollars to get them out of debt? If you can go somewhere else like New Bern n.c
