I want to express my sincere gratitude to James A Wheat and Sons employee Steven Braun, who truly made me and my family very happy. We had a leak in the ceiling of our living room and initially called another plumber. He told us the problem was a worn-out toilet gasket. I trusted his assessment and even bought two new toilets to replace the ones in both bathrooms. I recently selected James A. Wheat & Sons' plumbing team to come out to scope out whether or not it was feasible to install a city water softener system in my home in DC. The water here is so highly chlorinated and in the warmer months an additional high dose of chloramine is added at DC Water, causing a lot of issues for our exposure here at the house - extremely dry skin, scaling in our appliances, higher amount of soap needed to do dishes/laundry, etc, and strain on dishwashers, clothes washer, sinks, aerators, and the mi... read more

If you’re looking for a company to stand by their work and products, you may want to reconsider using James A. Wheat and Sons. In 2014, my husband and I purchased and had the company install a Space Pak AC system in our home. My husband passed away last month and I was trying to reset the timing for the heat to come on and turn off, when I noticed that the digital display on the Carrier thermostat was not completely illuminating.
