Dr. Martino and his staff are amazing! He is truly caring and patient; willing to listen and respond to his patients’ needs and concerns. When my mother was diagnosed with cancer, she was referred out to Dr. Martino, who sprung into action like Batman answering the Bat Signal. He called her even through it was a Sunday to discuss her treatment options and get her scheduled for surgery right away. He is one of the most caring individuals as a physician and human being! He's a person that goes out of his way not only for patients but people in general! He saved my family members life with his urgency, knowledge, and care! The world is a better place because of people like him
I heard him making negative comments outside of the door a couple of minutes before coming in. As soon as he comes in he decides instead of listening to me he would rather belittle me and be condescending. I had a seizure 2 days prior and blacking out to near blacking out at work trying not to pass out so I wasn't fully cognitively aware still at this point. Dr. Martino and staff were friendly, kind, and caring. I felt good when I left appt, I was in good hands.
I went to Dr. Berkowitz to check out my sinuses prior to a flight to Japan. He checked my lungs, heart, tapped on my sinuses. Recommended I use a decongestant and Afrin to clear my head prior to flying. I just happened to look at my insurance claims and noted that he billed the insurance company company for an “extended” visit - I was there no more than 10 minutes - most of the time, he questioned me about my international travel. Wonderful, thorough and very knowledgeable
I had been to 2 other hospitals, 3 providers and no one listened. Dr Martino listened. From day one I knew I found the right doctor. From the office staff to his assistant Nichole I couldn't have hoped for better care. Right from the start we had a game plan. I had an Essure device that needed removal and no one suspected cancer. Because Dr Martino suggested a hysterectomy to make sure it was completely gone, the cancer that was also found was removed.
