Dr Charles was able to correctly diagnose my tremors as essential tremor. Other doctors incorrectly told me it was Parkinsons and their drugs made me sick. Dr Charles and his staff are the best
I was sent to Dr Charles for a work related injury. I was experiencing numbness and tingling in my legs and all the other doctors assumed it was from a back injury. After examining me, he ordered tests which confirmed I have multiple sclerosis. I am now on disease modifying therapy and I am better. If it were not for Dr Charles and his staff, I would probably be in a wheelchair.
Dr Charles correctly diagnosed my epilepsy and put me on the right treatment. He and his staff are the best. I highly recommend Dr Charles and his staff.
I have had migraines for the greater part of my life- I am 60. Three years ago I began seeing Dr. Charles when I moved to Bayonne. He reviewed my entire history and spent a very long time gathering information about my headaches- He was extremely thorough! He suggested a specific treatment for these migraines- and explained in detail why this course of action was chosen. Talented and intelligent visit. Wonderful office staff, helpful. His nurse smart and kind. Visit was comprehensive and his treatment of my migraines was successful! He is the best in the business. Call for appointment and you will be very satisfied!! No one is better! He is a triple board certified general neurologist, specialist and certified in headache medicine. Dr Charles and I are friends/neighbors, and we sometimes met for dinner with our wives., about two years ago, he noticed that I had what he termed as a "neurological walk", which he suspected was the result of hydrocephalus (water on the brain). He immediately invited me to his office and recommended a CZf scan for me, which confirmed that diagnosis and advised that I would likely need to get a shunt put in my head to relieve that condition. Dr. Charles is an excellent neurologist and he knows what he is doing and how to treat his patients. He has a great bedside manner and takes his time. Appointments never feel rushed and he always makes sure that I am being treated. He follows up to make sure you are doing ok and the medicine is working and he has also came in to the office to treat me. I couldn't ask for more in a doctor. The staff is also very helpful and responsive.

Dr. Charles managed my Dad's Parkinsons with care and kindness. His office staff helped with the insurance questions and his Nurse brought us water while we waited for only a few minutes. His Bayonne office address is 956 Kennedy Blvd, with plenty of parking.
