I have been going here for a couple of months to get cornrows and the ladies here are amazing. They allow walk ins for men but most ladies getting their hair done have appointments. I would recommend Jamela to any man or woman needing cornrows. When you go in, let them know what you want, have a picture ready if possible and let them do their magic. I would never go back here and I do not recommend anyone to use them. I made an appointment at 730am for small knotless boho braids on 7/9 for my trip. If I could give 0 stars I would but the braids were cute. I've never received braids before. So I went on TikTok and found this braiding shop again, This is my first time getting braids. When I came for my appointment, I was looked at like I was an alien. Jamela used to be my go to braider over the last 20 years. I will never go back. I have spent $370 and still can’t get a professional job done. I asked for small braids and received large parts and hair that is not tucked in properly. There is no excuse as I only needed the crown of my Mohawk braided. These pictures is how my hair looks after just 2 weeks, tied down every night.

I highly recommend Miss Nelly! She did my hair so good! I’m not going to lie I came in here embarrassed because my hair is so short and I thought no one would want to do my hair but she was very professional and made me feel good about myself by commenting “it’s not short”. I plan on coming back to have her do my hair again.
