The lady at the register was trying to steal the tips for herself. I came in with a gift card and had a balance of $1.85 left and requested to have the remaining balance cashed out. The lady working at the register ( a little older) said she couldn't do that. After letting her know its CA law, she said oh fine but i need to take it out of my tips.
