I ordered a Strawberry Whirl. I was charged $1 more than the posted sign. I pointed it out to the young girl behind the counter. She agreed but said that there was nothing she could do about it. As I drive down the road and sip on the smoothie, I realize that it tastes terrible. It is bitter and sour--somthing is really wrong with it. I specifically informed the staff that I have a wheat allergy, as instructed by the sign at the register. Despite this, my bowl was prepared with oats. Came here with my girls for a treat after the gym. Their menu clearly says, “If you have allergy concerns, please ask,” so we did. Unfortunately, the response we got was basically a shoulder shrug and, “I don’t know.” Since no one could answer our question, we ordered anyway. Within two bites, my friend started having an allergic reaction. We went back up and asked if the bowl could be remade. They agreed—but then charged us again for the replacement bowl. What bothered me most wasn’t even the extra charge. It was how little... read more
