I am in love with Playa Bowl’s but couldn’t get all the way to Shelton today so I decided to try this place. Staff was really friendly and helpful. The açaí bowl was OK except that they used frozen bananas instead of fresh bananas, which was a major bummer. The peanut butter was in a lump in the middle instead of drizzled which also was a bit of a disappointment. The smoothie was overpriced and watery. It wasn't even that sweet.I've got a mango smoothie and a pineapple smoothie, and they were both mediocre. I got a waffle bowl with greek yogurt.The yogurt was very sour. It was not worth the price.
This place sold me a smoothie that genuinely tasted like cement. This was a complete waste of money.
Infested with flies. Very disappointed the lady making the smoothie was trying to swat the flies away. I threw the smoothie out. It did not taste good and I was grossed out by the flies would not return.
The lady who serviced me was selling spoiled smoothies. The guy before me complained about it being spoiled and she mentioned products being out of stock so she used whatever was left. Then i got my smoothie and it smelled so bad I gagged. Waste of money.
