Really enjoyed my breakfast meeting with a dear friend. Great place it was quiet so we could chat and catch up. Breakfast was good with a very good menu. Staff were friendly and happy contributing to a great relaxed atmosphere.
I think they need more staff. When we arrived and looked for an empty table, they were all covered in leftover crockery from previous diners. It is also looking scruffy and needs a good clean. Having said that, the food is terrific! My guest was impressed with her lunch, and I was delighted with my perfectly poached eggs on sourdough. Being a family location, we had the misfortune to have a nearby toddler who delighted in screaming for 'fun'. It wasn't, but that's life.
Worst ham & Cheese sandwich I have ever had, 1 small slice of ham and small amount of cheese !!!!
