My favorite restaurant in Bastrop. In fact, I don't eat Mexican food anywhere other than Jalisco's. The service is fantastic. The food reminds me of growing up in San Antonio. If you go, say hi to Antonio, the manager.

Today I took my 78 year old momma out to lunch with family. My daughter found what looked like a bristle from a wire brush in her food. When I asked for the manager I was told two different excuses... MY LAST VISIT HERE WATCH YOUR FOOD CAREFULLY
The best Carne Asada meal, pan fried just right with sweet onions . With guacamole salad , and nopalitos.
Pretty good food! The cooks are really happy back there making the food taste so good! They sang me happy birthday lol I've never wore a sombrero before and the dessert was delicious never had sopapillas like that before.
All their food is good, reasonably priced. I love that the tortilla chips are very thin and delivered warm to your table. When I feel that I or a friend may be coming down with a cold, I get a bowl of the tortilla soup for take out (don't want to spread germs), and sometimes go by on a cold day for a bowl of it.
